X-32A Joint Strike Fighter Wave-Off Test
During its 15th flight, the Boeing JSF X-32A concept demonstrator performs "wave-off" tests in preparation for low-speed simulated aircraft carrier landings at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. To underscore the commonality of its design, Boeing is using one aircraft, the X-32A, to demonstrate both the conventional takeoff and landing (CTOL) and the carrier variant (CV) handling qualities without any modifications or changes to the aircraft.
