Model 377 Stratocruiser Flight Deck
The crew in the 377 control cabin had more space than they were used to. Designers arranged seating, controls, equipment, and groups of instruments to make it easier for crew members to work together and to give them freedom of movement and excellent visibility. The forward seven windows of the middle row were automatically controlled to prevent icing or fogging. The entire control cabin was altitude conditioned, with controlled humidityand temperature.
