Dreamlifter Large Cargo Freighter First Take Off in Taipei
The first 747-400 LCF completed its first flight on Sept. 9, 2006. The LCF airplanes are modified by Evergreen Aviation Technologies Corp. (EGAT), a joint venture between General Electric and EVA Air. The second airplane will be finished in late 2006. Both planes will begin ferrying components for the 787 Dreamliner in 2007.
