The 747 Large Cargo Freighter shows off its new livery, as well as its new name, Dreamlifter. The enormous jet, with its enlarged upper fuselage, can accommodate three times the cargo by volume of a standard 747-400 freighter. It is the first of three specially modified jets that will be used to transport major assemblies for the all-new 787 Dreamliner. The LCF flew for the first time on Sept. 9, 2006.
