XSN2J-1 Scout Trainer Prototype in Flight over California Coast
The XSN2J-1 was a prototype to develop the next-generation trainer of the 1940s and 1950s. Elements of its design such as its canopy operating system and the rudder pedal hangers were incorporated into the T-28 Trojan production model. Two of the prototypes were made.
