Plant I From Afar
The northern end of a building in a shipyard was closed off and floored to become a conventional factory/office/engineering facility. Additional building were added in the 1930's to accommodate the wartime navy contracts for training seaplanes and patrol-bomber flying boats. The original building remained in use until Boeing shut down what had become knows as Plant I in 1969.
