The first Dreamliner built in South Carolina completed its first flight May 23, 2012. Piloted by Tim Berg and Randy Neville, the airplane successfully conducted a five-hour test flight.
Boeing South Carolina is only the third site in the world to assemble and deliver twin-aisle commercial airplanes.
