VC-137B On Boeing Flightline

The first presidential jet plane, a modified Boeing 707-120, was delivered in 1959. Officially designated Special Air Missions 970, VC-137B, the aircraft was nicknamed Queenie. It contained a conference room, two separate passenger compartments, a state room and a dedicated telecommunications compartment.
