Boeing Red Barn, 1910s
The Boeing Company's first home was a former shipyard on the banks of the Duwamish River affectionately called the Red Barn. In the Red Barn builders and accountants worked downstairs while engineers worked upstairs. In use from 1916 to 1970, the Red Barn is now part of the Museum of Flight in Seattle.
