The McDonnell Douglas MD-90 is a member of the long-lived McDonnell Douglas twin-jet family of aircraft. The MD-90 is an advanced midsize, medium-range airliner that serves the needs of travelers and airlines today and well into the 21st century. In the 1990s, the MD-90 was the quietest large jetliner and exceeded U.S. and international noise level requirements by substantial margins.
