The F-15SA, the latest variant of the combat-proven F-15E, brings a host of capability enhancements aimed at improved combat capability and increased survivability at a lower total lifecycle cost. The aircraft includes two new missionized weapons stations for increased weapons payload capacity and carriage flexibility. The F-15SA flight-test program began in 2013 to test new systems and weapons being integrated on the aircraft. flight tests will take place at Boeing facilities in St. Louis and Palmdale, Calif., and will use test ranges at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif.
