Boeing 757 Engine, PW2000

The engines powering the Boeing 757-300 and the 757-200F are Pratt & Whitney PW2000s. The PW2000 engine family builds on the success of the PW2037 and PW2040 engines for the 757-200 passenger plane. A higher thrust version of the engine -- the PW2043 -- also earned certification and provides 43,000 pounds of thrust and additional performance capability for the 757-300. (Leo Duddley at computer.
