The Boeing Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) ground control system, known as the Architecture Evolution Plan, operates the on-orbit constellation of 32 GPS satellites. The system was built and deployed seamlessly by Boeing in September 2007. The GPS fleet provides important services to military and civilian users who rely on it for vehicle location and navigation assistance. Image composited by Boeing artist Jim Santoni.
