The first production model of the Boeing Business Jet made its inaugural air show appearance at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) convention in Las Vegas Oct. 18-21. The winglets shown on this model were flown on a 737-800 testbed airplane earlier this summer and then attached to this airplane after flying in from Seattle. Further testing of the winglets on the actual Boeing Business Jet is scheduled for late 1998 and early 1999. The winglets were designed and built by Aviation Partners, Inc. of Seattle.
