Douglas Airview, DC-6 Standard Arrangement, 52 Passenger Dayplane - 26 Passenger Sleeper
The luxurious DC-6 interior was carefully styled and designed to provide the ultimate in passenger comfort and travel relaxation. Utilizing the latest in styling techniques of the time, passenger consideration was paramount in planning the DC-6 interior. From the rich wall fabrics in pastel shades that have both eye appeal and sound absorption qualities, to the unseen sponge rubber under the floor coverings, no detail of refinement was overlooked. With its 7 foot ceiling height and more than 8 foot floor width, the DC-6 cabin was spacious and airy, with wide aisles and ample width seats. The DC-6 was offered in four interior arrangements.
