Delta Clipper Composite Liquid Hydrogen Tank
The Delta Clipper was the first spacecraft to use a Russian aluminum-lithium liquid oxygen tank and the U.S.-manufactured graphite epoxy liquid hydrogen tank and main engine and valve. Though the program was cancelled, the technologies incorporated into building the Delta Clipper have paved the way for future spaceplane technologies.
