A160T Forester Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
The A160T Forester Unmanned Aerial Vehicle looked like a helicopter but was unlike any other helicopter on the market. It could reach higher altitudes, hover for longer periods of time, go greater distances and operate much more quietly than conventional helicopters. The Forester featured a unique optimum-speed-rotor technology that significantly improved overall performance efficiency by adjusting the rotor's speed at different altitudes, gross weights and cruise speeds. The autonomous unmanned aircraft measured 35 feet long with a 36-foot rotor diameter.
