Brazilian Air Force B-17s Taxiing at Recife Air Base

The B-17 Flying Fortress was in service with the Brazilian Air Force from 1951 to 1968. Thirteen B-17s were flown by the 1st and 2nd Squadrons of the 6th Aviation Group for photo reconnaissance and search & rescue operations.
