The Boeing Model 360 was an experimental helicopter developed by Boeing to demonstrate new technology, including extensive use of composite materials in the rotorheads and fuselage, a retracting landing gear and internal fuel cells. Design features were carried over to other programs, such as the RAH-66 Commanche and the V-22 Osprey.
