Boeing employees towed the company's Joint Strike Fighter X-32A concept demonstrator from its final assembly position to a structural test rig Aug. 20 at Boeing facilities in Palmdale, CA. The move marks the completion of final assembly and the beginning of ground test for the X-32A. Testing is on schedule, with first flight targeted for spring 2000.
