737-800 Flying Over Seattle
As part of a flawless three hour and five minute first flight, the longest 737 ever built flew over the Seattle skyline. The 129-foot, 6-inch Next-Generation 737-800 will go through seven months of flight test. Certification of the 737-800 is scheduled for February 1998 and first delivery, to German carrier Hapag-Lloyd, in March.
