Boeing Model C at the Lake Union boathouse in Seattle
The Boeing C series followed the Model 1 B&W and was the first "all-Boeing" design. The U.S. Navy ordered two Model Cs for testing at the naval base in Pensacola, FL. Fifty additional Model Cs were ordered as the entry of the United States into WWI created a sudden demand for primary training planes.
