The Boeing Vertical /Short Takeoff and Landing Wind Tunnel, is also known as BVWT. The facility is located in Eddystone, PA and is operated under Boeing's Integrated Defense Systems component. It has been in continuous use since April 1968 and has logged over 60,000 hours of testing. The tunnel has a large (20' x 20'), versatile test section useful for testing fixed and rotary wing aircraft and non-aeronautical vehicles and structures.
