March 14, 2007 -- Major assembly mechanics at Boeing's Composite Manufacturing Center (CMC) in Frederickson, Washington lower into place a skin panel sub-assembly on the main box of the first production 787 vertical fin during implementation of the factory's new pulse moving assembly line. The Boeing Composite Manufacturing Center rolled out its first 787 vertical fin on March 14, a key milestone leading to the beginning of airplane final assembly in Everett, Wash.
