Boeing installed 23 high-concentration photovoltaic solar power panels at a 100-kilowatt power facility on the campus of California State University, Northridge in 2010. Each 18-by-8 foot solar panel can produce approximately 3.5 kilowatts of electricity, or enough energy to power an average-sized home.
