The heart of the Electro-Optical/Infrared forward-looking sight system is the mission computer, which uses commercial off the shelf hardware combined with software based on that used in the Apache Block III. It provides the pilot with flight symbology, page displays, warnings, cautions and advisories, weapons pages and digital maps. Weapons can be mixed and matched in four weapons stations and are automatically configured and displayed. The electro-optic/infrared camera provides the pilot with a sight system featuring infrared, laser range finder and laser designator capability.
