Boeing’s second P-8A Poseidon, T2, completed a successful first flight June 5, 2009. During T2’s maiden flight pilots performed a series of flight checks and took the aircraft to a maximum altitude of 25,000 feet. T2 is the third of five test aircraft being assembled and tested as part of the System Development and Demonstration contract Boeing received in 2004.
