YC-132 Mockup at Douglas-Tulsa
In the early 1950s, Douglas-Tulsa received a contract to design, engineer and manufacture the proposed C-132. A full sized mock up was constructed out of wood at the plant. The aircraft was so large that the starboard wing was left off and the top of the vertical stabilizer was left off so the mock up would fit in AFP #3. However, the C-132 project was cancelled in 1956.
