SAS 377 Stratocruiser Lower Deck Lounge
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) ordered four 377 Stratocruisers. Each one was elegantly appointed with materials supplied by SAS, and were the most luxuriously furnished airplanes to ever enter commercial air service. Lounge walls on the lower deck lounge had hand-painted appliqués of Nordic-stylized animals, trees, and human figures. However, all four of these aircraft were sold to BOAC before flying any of SAS's routes.
