The Model 64 was built at company expense and offered to the Army and the Navy as both a primary and a gunnery trainer. A removable rear cockpit fairing structure permitted rapid change from padded headrest to gun ring to accomomodate either two pilots or a pilot and a gunner. The military did not order the plane into production. The single model was sold to Pacific Air Transport and, later, to a private owner.
