At 106 feet long and weighing 82,000 pounds, the Model 314 Clipper was enormous. Its luxurious interior attracted the well-to-do and VIPs, including President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who celebrated his 61st birthday aboard the Boeing Dixie Clipper.
