767-400ER World Tour Passenger Cabin
On July 20, 2000, a Boeing 767-400ER extended range) airplane - which at the time, was the newest member in the 767 family of airplanes - took off from Boeing Field on an around-the-world tour that took the airplane to 17 cities and three continents, including the Farnborough Air Show. This 767 had a one-of-a-kind World Tour design inside and out. Both the airplane's distinctive livery and its interior featured graphics and fabrics that reflected the human fascination with flight. Illustrations from the Greek myths of Pegasus and Mercury were beautifully woven into the carpets. The cabin decor featured Leonardo da Vinci's drawings.
