Majesty
In February 1938, six Y1B-17s flew 6,000 miles from Miami, FL to Buenos Aires, Argentina in two legs, stopping in Chile. The Y1B-17s crossed the rugged peaks of the Andes on the second leg from Chile to Argentina. The lead ship of the six Y1B-17s is pictured here, on the second leg of the trip, flying past a mountain called "Aconagua." The Y1B-17s were on a goodwill trip to South America.
