757-200 Assembly
The Boeing 757-300, a derivative of the 757-200, is the largest single-aisle twinjet ever produced and has the lowest seat-mile operating costs of any single-aisle airplane on the market. The first 757-300 was scheduled to be delivered to launch customer Condor Flugdienst, a German charter airline, in January 1999. In August 2002 the 757 manufacturing process converted to a moving line system, replacing the old station to station method of assembly pictured here.
