Before Boeing unveiled the Dreamliner Gallery in late 2006, airline customers would visit supplier facilities around the world, as far away as Italy, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan and across the United States to view and compare seats, galleys and other components that comprise their airplane configuration. But with the new 787, customers need only visit Boeing's new facility in Everett, Washington, to experience offerings from the seven seat suppliers in the 787 catalog, all of which will be precertified.
