314 Clipper in the Ocean

The Boeing 314 Clipper of 1938 represents the pinnacle of romance in air travel. This was the largest and most capable of the great flying boats that spanned the oceans before World War II. The Model 314 had a 3,500-mile range and made the first scheduled trans-Atlantic flight June 28, 1939.
