The terrain surrounding the Barry M. Goldwater Range, located 70 miles from Mesa near the town of Gila Bend, AZ, has given more than 400 British Army pilots and maintenance crew members a chance to train in an environment similar to the one they’ll experience in Afghanistan or Iraq when such deployment occurs.
