Shipping One of Two GA-2s
The GA-2 was a large, singe-engine armored biplane powered by an untried Army designed three-bank 700-horsepower engine. Two GA-2s were built, the first exactly as designed by the Army, and the other with extensive revision as a result of Boeing's experience with the GA-1s and the first GA-2. The armored concept did not prove to be practical, so further development of the type was abandoned.
