First delivered to Pan American Airways in 1940 and named the Clipper Flying Cloud, the airplane, one of only 10 built, was restored to original condition with the help of approximately 30 retiree volunteers. On August 2003, it flew to its new home on permanent display at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum's new companion facility, the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Washington, D.C.'s Dulles International Airport.BI217576 (01sk03367-19)Maximum size:4368px × 4404px (~55 MB)14.5in × 14.6in (300dpi)License type:Rights ManagedKeywords:1930s-2000s-307 Stratoliner-airplanes-Clipper Flying Cloud (NC19903)-close-ups-commercial-commercial passenger planes-ground shots-historic production status-interiors-monoplanes-passenger cabins-payload systems-photos-pink-propeller planes-vintage / retro-vivid colorRelated Photo/Videos:View All
