North American Aviation's Rocketdyne division produced stage IV engines for the Peacekeeper ICBM, also known as Missile-X or MX, a weapon system carrying 10 nuclear warheads. The fourth stage engines provided 2300 lbs of boost and manuvered the missile into position to deploy the multiple re-entry vehicles.
