The low-wing cargo and mail plane did not have struts under the wing, and had smooth, all-metal construction with anti-drag cowling over an air-cooled engine. However, the design did not reach its full potential because it needed a variable-pitch propeller. The Monomail did not acquire this type of propeller until the newer, multi-engine airplanes that would replace it were already flying.BI218662 (p22148b)Maximum size:5638px × 3694px (~59 MB)18.7in × 12.3in (300dpi)License type:Rights ManagedKeywords:1930s-air to air-airplanes-beaches and coastlines-bodies of water-Boeing livery-clouds-day-exteriors-flying-full body views-haze-historic production status-left side views-mail planes-Monomail-Monomail Model 200-monoplanes-photos-propeller planes-sunshine-text-urban areas-vignetting-vintage / retroRelated Photo/Videos:View AllRelated Virtual folders:Monomail 200
