The Joint Strike Fighter 737 Avionics Flying Laboratory makes its first flight from Boeing facilities in Wichita on March 26, 1999. Boeing Aerospace Support fitted a Boeing 737-200 with a 48-inch nose and radome assembly to the forward pressure bulkhead of the aircraft to integrate and test the advanced avionics for the Boeing Joint Strike Fighter (JSF).
