Later versions had aluminum covering the fuselage rather than fabric or wood. Model 83, designed for the Navy, had a hook-type arrester so that it could land on aircraft carriers. Its production version was designated F4B. The Model 89, built for the Army as the P-12, had a rack that could hold a 500-pound bomb.BI229763 (2506b)Maximum size:2272px × 2884px (~18 MB)7.5in × 9.6in (300dpi)License type:Rights ManagedKeywords:1920s-airplanes-ammunition/weapons systems-biplanes-close-ups-day-detail views-engines-F4B/P-12 series-F4B-1 (Model 99)-fighters-ground shots-historic production status-interiors-manufacturing-military-photos-Plant I-propeller planes-propulsion systems-text-viewed from aboveRelated Photo/Videos:View All
