The Delta family of launch vehicles are highly reliable and accurate launch systems, with a full range of capability to launch satellites up to 13,100 kg to GTO. Delta II, "the workhorse of the launch industry" and the preferred rocket of NASA, has demonstrated more than 98% reliability in more than 100 launches since 1989. Boeing has launch service contracts in place for Delta II through 2010 and plans to continue contracting launch services using Delta II beyond 2010 based on customer demand.
