China Airlines 747-400 was the First 747 in New Boeing Livery

In November 2004, a China Airlines 747-400 passenger airplane became the first 747 to be painted in Boeing's new dynamic blue-and-white livery. The airplane was also the first 747-400 to feature the Boeing Signature Interior. The airplane sported the livery, combined with China Airlines’ traditional plum blossom logo on its tail, for a full year before being repainted in the Taiwan-based airline’s traditional livery. The special design symbolized the relationship between the two companies.
