The pressurized Model 367s had a double-lobe fuselage consisting of two intersecting circular sections so its 74-foot-long upper deck had the larger diameter. Cargo was loaded through large clamshell doors in the belly using a built-in ramp and a hoist. In addition to five crew members, the C-97 Stratofreighter could carry 134 troops or 83 stretcher patients with four attendants.BI24250 (p6836)Maximum size:5998px × 4632px (~79 MB)19.9in × 15.4in (300dpi)License type:Rights ManagedKeywords:1940s-airplanes-Boeing Field-buildings-C-97 Stratofreighter (Model 367)-close-ups-cockpits-day-flight lines-grid patterns-ground shots-historic production status-interiors-military-monoplanes-photos-propeller planes-silhouettes-structural systems-tarmac-transports-windowsRelated Photo/Videos:View AllRelated Virtual folders:C-97 Stratofreighter
