C-17 Globemaster III Taxis Away from Cargo Pallets

Rows of cargo pallets stacked on the ramp at Taszar Air Base, Hungary, attest to the capability and capacity of the newest Air Force airlifter, the C-17 Globemaster III, shown in the background. The cargo was delivered to Taszar, a supply staging point for the American forces assigned to the NATOpled Implementation Force, from Rhein-Main Air Base, Germany. C-17s flew more passengers and cargo into Bosnia than any other airlifter.
