Visitors can see the world's most recognizable airplane -- the Boeing 747 -- under construction in the company's final assembly plant in Everett, Wash. The building that houses 747 assembly also is home to the Boeing 767, Boeing 777 and 787 airplanes, and is recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest building by volume (472 million cubic feet of space; 13.3 million cubic meters) in the world. The tours allow visitors to see how Boeing assembles its huge passenger jets that lead the way in innovation, manufacturing processes and design.
