Wichita, May 1, 1998 - Boeing Commercial Airplane Group, Wichita Division, builder of three-quarters of the 737 airframe, joined sections of the first Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) into a one-piece fuselage. Joining of the fuselage was in preparation for its shipment by railcar to the Renton, Washington factory, where the aircraft will roll out this summer.
