Boeing AH-6I on Test Flight

The AH-6I airframe is derived from the combat-proven AH-6M used by the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, combining nearly 40 years of real-world performance data with 21st century avionics and structural enhancements. Because it was derived from a military aircraft rather than a retrofitted commercial helicopter, AH-6 already includes qualified weapons mounts on the airframe. It's able to carry the Hellfire missile, the M260 seven-shot rocket pod, a machine gun and a mini-gun integrated with a sensor system.
